these past few days we have been kitty sitting pj, bella's brother, & it's been really fun!  at first they were kinda giving each other attitude, but they're much better now.  joe & i have both woken up to pj sleeping at our heads on our pillows & than bella sleeping at on legs or on our tummy.  it's really cute!  some of my favorite's of the babes:

last night joe took me out & we came across the most adorable halloween costume at kids pottery barn.  it's of a shark & it's just incredible.  we called his mom to see if his little brother parker had decided what he wanted to be & if not that we could get it for him.  if he doesn't want to be it, i can totally fit in it & would be so excited to be a shark haha!  we also bought a few large picture frames for some poster that we want to put in our dinning room.  things still aren't all put together, it's hard, but two of my favorite things so far:

we went to see nfg on wednesday & it was pretty cool.  having to hang out in colorado springs, not so cool, but it was at a small venue & nfg played some awesome covers, old songs & wore their funny wind-breakers.  i loved it.

joey made dinner tonight & it was really yummy.  we played a bit of tennis earlier today & yesterday too,  he kicked my butt & made fun of me "i thought you played tennis in high school?"  well i did & yes i'm not very good now, but it was still a lot of fun.  yesterday after tennis we cleaned up & went down to the creek.  really for no special reason we just wanted to hang out & i love when we just walk around together.  we ended up getting a super cute card for cassidy's wedding that we're attending on tuesday night & than i got a few things.  

we both had wednesday off which we took bebe bella in for her appointment to get spayed.  i felt really bad walking out of the vet without her, but i felt even worse when we brought her home because she was sooo out of it & in so much pain.  i've never had a pet so i had no idea the whole process, but her poor little tummy is shaved & swollen & it's just so sad, but she's feeling better now.  she's obsessed with feathers, so we bought her an obnoxious new one:

we also both had yesterday off, j woke me up with fabulous pancakes:

he used this really neat gigantic star shaped cutout that my mommy got for us.  while we ate we watched hours of the us open, it was incredible.  my mom also got me a hello kitty humidifier [whatever, i love it] it's so funny where it is in the room & than bella sits on the bed & watches the mist for so long.  oh & she also likes to be adorable & crawl under the sheets & cuddle in the morning:

we now have internet & cable all thanks to joey! i have so many pictures & things to update about, but as much as i've wanted to do that, it's much more interesting spending time with my bebe & bella. today we rested & when i finally got up, we went downtown so i could show j around. we spent too much at aa followed by a yummy dinner at the cheesecake factory. we started to watch the notebook once we got home since he's never seen it & he fell asleep on me, of course. but then i started watching video's on ondemand & he woke up so i started singing funny songs to him. we're slightly obsessed with the everybody nose song by n.e.r.d, we've been listening to it all day & moving around all funny. we've got plans go to see them at the end of september, i'm pretty excited about it! oh & i read this crazy article today about how pharrell [my bf] is planning to cover up his tattoo's & i'm just so confused i guess i could say about the whole procedure. i'm tired, so i'll upload pictures tomorrow & write more then zzzzz.

hello all, joey & i are home in colorado! we haven't set up our cable/internet which explains the lack of updating & not being able to format this post as i like to, but we're going to do that soon. tonight we had dinner at my aunt's house & now i'm sitting on the couch eating coconut sorbet while watching joe play with bella; it's perfect! i had the whole week off & than we arrived here late friday night which included a warm welcome from mommy & von! saturday we slept in a bit, went downtown to hang out with alysha, did some running around & than brought pj back home for a sleep over with bella. sunday we took the babes to the vet & than did some shopping for our home. i got a new bike too which i totally didn't need, but i'm so excited about! it's the most wondeful feeling in the world to have joe here with me. i love him sooo much & am the most lucky girl in the world that he moved all the way out here. it's getting close to bedtime, i'll write more later!

please excuse the bags under my eyes, but here i am sitting in front of our awesome couch preparing to put together our tv stand.  with previous experience i've bought things that are the "no tools required" so i thought it'd be quick & easy to do, but with my luck i needed a screw driver & hammer so that idea was a no go.  mommy bought us a really neat floor lamp & a couple other great things.  oh & tons of tissues since my allergies have been absolutely out of control lately.  i bought bella a cute liter box, some hair clips for myself, two pillows & a nice fluffy comforter to put in our duvet. i feel like things are coming together slowly in the apartment, moving isn't a quick thing to do & i had no idea.  i'm not in too much of a rush, but the things that are complete so far look really good & i'm very happy about it.  i can't wait to take pictures & have people over.  i know, i keep saying that!

it has been way too hot outside lately & i absolutely hate it.  i moved into our apartment on tuesday, but actually i just went there to get my keys & take over some cleaning supplies.  i came back to my mommy's house to finish packing up some stuff & than later that night i went back over to drop off some boxes.  came back to spend the night & than early wednesday morning i went back over again so my furniture could be delivered & it's all just sooo beautiful.  i do have pictures, but i don't want to show any until everything is completely decorated!  the washer & dryer are kind of small so i washed my mattress pad at the house & than after work today went to the apartment to make up my bed which looks incredible.  i haven't taken over any clothes yet, so at the moment i'm pretty much staying at the house, but i have to be in the apartment by wednesday because that's when i'm going to bring bella home.  alysha has been a lifesaver & has been taking care of bella for me, she's so fabulous.  yesterday & today we did a little more shopping; a new microwave, tv stand, floor cushion, lamps & cute little things!  i really love how things are looking & i can't wait for everything to come together & look perfect & have cute little dinner parties.  one thing that made me kind of frown though was that we don't have an ice maker, but when i tell that to everyone else they're like "uh yeah okay?"  i don't know i love ice, i must be a freak or something, so i bought four decent size ice trays today. :]

one of the ladies at work had a grandma pass away & is going to have to go out of town, so i'm going to help out this weekend & work.  which means twelve days straight of working & no day off until next saturday, the nineteenth ahh. this past week i have had my office all to myself because my ops manager has been on vacation.  it's been so nice because i've been able to keep it as clean as i want the whole time & i'm all alone & get to do whatever i'd like.  this week my work load hasn't been too heavy which is nice, but at the same time i get kind of worried just because the economy is so blah.  but i'm sure it's probably nothing to worry about.  i'm really ridiculous & got some hello kitty supplies to organize my files, i can already hear everyone giggle at me, but i love it.  i'm already ready for a day off haha.

so i survived the disgusting smell of gas throughout the house.  we'd been having issues with our hot water heater & when they came to fix it whatever they did caused a gas leak & than they had to just replace the whole hot water heater. a quick recap of this past week since i haven't written for a while: tuesday i stayed home from work & did a tiny bit of running around with my mommy. to my surprise the errands ended up turning into a little high school reunion everywhere we went & it just pissed me off like no other.  ugh!  wednesday we went furniture shopping & i got a few great pieces. my bed is so beautiful & the mattress is a total dream & everything else i got is just fantastic! the fourth of july was the start of the cherry creek arts festival, so as a bit of a tradition my mommy & i went to it after work. it was extremely hot outside, but there were a lot of neat things to look at & we saw a lot of lovely jewelry. it was too hot so we left & watched the fireworks.

today my aunt & i went to my apartment with the intentions to do the walk through since we were told to go in & do that before i move in on tuesday.  once we got there they looked at us like we made it up or something & told us that we have to do that the day i move in.  so we left & did a little bit of shopping & i saw this complete knockoff of one of my mj shirts & my jaw just dropped because who does that. anyway, my official move in day is on tuesday, so since i have to work i'm going to go over there once i get off to get my keys, do the walk through & take a few things.  then i'm going to come back to my mommy's to spend the night & go back early wednesday morning because that's when my furniture will be delivered & i'll take over the rest of my things.  i may be without internet for just a bit because i'm not sure about the service & all, but those that have my phone number can text or call. now i can't wait to fly out & bring back my joey!

yesterday i went to vain with my mommy for her hair appointment because i love michelle; she's like the best hairstylist & nicest person. after she got a fabulous cut we had dinner at steuben's.  call me crazy, but for the first time in my life i had an egg cream there & it was delicious.  they have the best cupcakes there too so we got some to take home, but this time they weren't so good.  after that we went to the bookstore so i could finally pick up the mj interview magazine & a book too.  i was really excited about the magazine though because it featured the original andy warhol interview from nineteen seventy-seven & anybody that knows me knows i'm an andy warhol freak.  

today i left work early to set aside some hours for all my work i have to do tomorrow & friday.  so we had a nice lunch & than did some shopping for bebe bella!  so far we bought her food, a really cute bowl for the food, a few toys & a super cute bed.  my favorite of her toys are the mini tennis balls with catnip in them, maybe she'll take after me & love the sport.  hahah, kidding.  it was like ninety-five degrees outside so we pretty much died & went for popsicles at the market. three popsicles later i was fine, ha! we came home to the smell of gas & i guess it has something to do with the hot water issues we've been having this past couple of weeks or something & the xcel people are trying to say they won't be able to come take a look at things until friday.  so if i don't wake up tomorrow due to the gas, i love you all.

friday afternoon i went with my mommy & my aunt to the greek fest.  it was so hot outside & felt just awful, but we still had a really nice time. we ate the most delish baklava + other goodies & my mommy bought me a really lovely ring.  as we were leaving i noticed how beautiful the houses in the area were, i absolutely fell in love with this one:

i guess i'm a little bit of a freak for having taken a picture of it since someone actually lives there, but my jaw totally dropped the moment i saw it.  the picture only shows half of it & it's much better to look at in person, but i was just so amazed at how fabulous it is.  dream home!

oh & random:

but i also got a new little burberry last week.  yes it's tiny, but i seriously don't have a single small purse or anything that style, so i just had to have it.  it makes me feel like a little old lady, but i love it.

alysha & i have been thinking of things to do once joey gets here, like what places we absolutely have to take him that he hasn't already been.  she's going to come over a lot & we're going to have little dinner parties & be so cute about it.  she's such a fabulous girl, i love her.  lara also told me news today that she is moving back to denver after all, so that'll be really neat.  & hahah, she wants joe to join her band.

next sunday is cassidy's engagement party.  i really like her & am so happy for her.  i bought her the cutest card the other day & soon will find the perfect gift.  & then her wedding is in september which should be really great!  but today has been my one day off this week, so now i'm going to go back to laying around & staying in my pj's all day doing nothing with my magazines surrounding me.  i'll write more later!

oh & ps. i briefly talked to this girl from high school today on aim & she was asking all sorts of weird questions & when i asked why she was like "don't worry i'm not going to stalk you or anything."  like, way to make a person never want to talk to you again.  kinda freaky, no?

so i obviously received our mj mail today.  i seriously have felt so exhausted this past week & it totally shows on my face, but i still think i look hilarious in that polaroid.  yesterday i bought some more towels & a new nail polish which was nice. i'm counting down the days until it's time to fly out to bring joey home & making lists like crazy for everything possible.  okay i'm going to lay down & watch tv now.

today i got a major good deal on a beautiful espresso color floor cabinet with glass paneled doors.  unfortunately we don't have a linens closet in our apartment [crazy i know] so the cabinet will be our alternative for that.  we have lovely towels so i'll probably store only those in there.   after work i called the bleecker st. marc by marc store & bought two of the interview magazine tee, one for joey & one for me.  i hate that we don't have any of his stores out here it's just not fair.  oh & yesterday i got sidetracked while working on my room & did this:

sitting down with a fresh cup of coffee & a fresh stack of fashion magazines, plus a couple issues of elle decor, i am starting out my morning perfectly.  my plan to get rid of clothing is still going to apply, but with a helpful suggestion from the magazines i'm going to stack things vertically in the closet as much as possible.  this week i purchased a drawer unit with slideout shelves that should be fairly convenient & soon we'll look into more shelves/organziers.  

our cookware set is now on order & i just absolutely love it.  it has a hard anodized outside & non-stick inside with really neat looking contemporary handles.  there's still a few major kitchen necessities that we still need to get, but we have a lot of really great things already. my favorites so far is the dinnerware set joe bought & than these cute martini glasses from my mommy just for fun:

our general theme, may it be boring to some or not, is everything modern with black, white & stainless steel accessories.  so along with that will come some of my favorite photographs that i've collected:

i received these vintage chanel pieces from lara a while back & am thinking that appropriately enough they will go near the closet.

to match our empire state building shower curtain i couldn't resist the brooklyn bridge & than to compliment it i thought the eiffel tower was wonderful.  so those will be placed somewhere in the restroom, most likely above our towel bar. then maybe we'll add touches of red.

& of course we can't possibly leave out the leading lady, she'll look beautiful anywhere. i promised joey the apartment wouldn't turn into a total girl place & while it might look like that so far, he's going to have his own art pieces to contribute. this week my mom bought a new dyson, the dc seventeen, so i put it together last night & than she told me i can have her other dyson!  it's hardly been used & it's the slim model, so it'll be perfect to store in a compact space & i just think it's so awesome that i can have it! i should probably start packing things.

we decided her name will be bella & she's eight weeks old at 1.6lbs! we are lucky enough to have her because of my bff alysha & her mommy.  alysha has bella's brother & his name is pj & they're just the cutest little things eveeer.  we're so excited about everything! 

this weekend i signed the lease on our apartment, it's ooours now! i move in a month from now & than soon after i will fly out to maine, visit with joey's family & friends & bring him home with me for good! it's location is a lot closer to work than i thought which is nice & everything about it is just perfect for us. we've got a good amount of things already, but i suppose we have a lot of things to get still. i know it'll all come together very well & i can't wait to get these bags of things from bed bath & beoynd off my floor & into the apartment where they belong. i tried to minimize things in my closet last night, but was only successful is getting rid of one bag full of stuff. i think i need a really strong second opinion on things that i should & shouldn't keep.

since seeing the s&tc movie i haven't been able to stop watching the dvds. with the exception of season one, i absolutely love all the rest.  

yes of course i absolutely want carrie's closet, which i need to keep in mind to look at pull out drawers like that, but anyway i just love the show. i'm on season two & mr. big just introduced natasha to carrie. what an awkward lunch they just had, oh my god. i'm so glad they ended up together in the movie after all, i always loved them.

today joey & i got approved for our very first fabulous apartment together!  it's finally coming together for us after all this time & it's seriously the most exciting thing eveeer.  we have the cutest little courtyard to look down at from our balcony & one of the pools is right next to us too. i can't wait to move in & have him here with me & i'm so excited that i can't even really sit still so i will write more later. :]

how faaabulous was sex & the city, oh my goodness!  i laughed, i cried & than cried some more.  i seriously loved every minute of it that i just can't quite understand how it could've gotten slightly poor ratings.  carrie wearing the same belt four different times made me giggle, charlotte's little girl was adorable & steve shocked me like no other.  i always envied carrie's closet from her little apartment, but the closet that mr. big had built for her was just a dream.  in the beginning they showed pictures/clips from past episodes & they included one of my favorites, this finale just cracks me up every single time ...

yesterday the mommy & i went down to cherry creek.  we talked with our burberry ladies for a while & looked through the new fall collection which is absolutely spectacular.  teresa is probably my favorite lady ever because she just says whatever she wants & doesn't care, i wish i could be like that at times.  i was a good girl & didn't buy anything there, but then i ended up getting a cute pair of dior flats at neiman's:

today i have off & haven't done much of anything yet again.  i really need to be more productive in getting ready to move which i know i will be soon enough but right now i just can't get the motivation.  silly story, but i had a root beer & seriously felt like i had been drugged or something because it put me to sleep for like two hours hahah.  okay i think i'll start another audrey hepburn movie now or do some yoga.

this weekend i did absolutely nothing other than be lazy, take naps & watch movies.  funny face, sabrina & roman holiday ... it was fantastic!  i had every opportunity to jog because the weather was great but i failed to do that.  my mom laughs at me because i jog with my blackberry, but what of it.  i want to look into decorating magazines or books for joey & i.  we've already got our style in mind, but i want to make sure everything is as best as it can be.  i also need to look into cook books because i need as much help as i can possibly get!  i came across a beautiful brick house in cherry creek last week that i wish to live in, i would love if we could one day.  back to the movies!

crazy tornado's happening all over colorado today. it was so alarming to hear the sirens during work & looking outside to see creepy skies. as ridiculous as it is i can finally pull my hair back into a tiny pony. it's hilarious at the same time because only like an inch of hair sticks out. i'm over this haircut now, but i don't know what i want to do with it next. something might be wrong with me but i think nicole richie & joel are really cute together now that they've had a baby. i'm really random.

went to the creek last night & found a couple things at uo, i still like to shop there. you can't tell from the picture, but the tank has a really pretty little chiffon scarf in the back. & with the slip i just loved the tiered pleating on the hem. joey picked out that shower curtain, we both absolutely love the empire state building so that will work the best for us. i thought the moosey was hilarious, not in the sense that i'd actually want it more so just to be funny, but i don't think he's too fond of it. mommy bought us a couple cute things for our home at williams sonoma.  & i looked at tv's today too but didn't quite find the one.

tomorrow night i am going out for a little bit with the girls from work which should be nice. my twin will be there so i'm excited for that. i'm hoping sometime this week or just soon at least i'll go look at cars, i have three in mind but am wishing more so for one of them.  this coming week it's going to be close to ninety degrees, oh goodness.

i absolutely love it & wish blair was my bff.

i've decided i'm pretty horrible at sitting down & writing in this thing so far. not too much to update about, but a bit at least. this past week i went to look at joey & my new home & absolutely thought it was fantastic for us! just going there & walking around thinking of how things will look once we're settled was so exciting for me. it makes me want to design, seal & address home warming invitations already! maybe it'd be okay just to get those together in advance?  haha!  but really, we're so cute & have a checklist of all the things that we have so far & what we will still need. i'm probably most excited about getting our beautiful cookware set ... not that i know how to cook obviously, but it's seriously so nice to look at. our sheets [which yes they are also beautiful] are on order & should be coming in any day now. as bummed as we are about it, joey & i unfortunately will not be attending sound & fury this year. it's just bad timing & vacation time didn't really work out so instead i'm going to fly straight to maine & we're going to drive back home to colorado together. it actually works out better not going anyway because by the time we'd leave & get to maine his parents would be away camping.  i don't want to miss out on spending time with them before i take their boy away so we'll visit as much as we can with them instead; i love his family. so come august i'll be starting a new & most exciting part of my life. :]

tonight's episode of gossip girl was sooo good i can't believe it. i don't know what it is about that show & i probably am totally ridiculous for getting so excited over it, but i wish it was on all the time. i hate georgina more than anything & i've always hated that actress so i hope they do something really bad to her on next weeks finale, haha!

my blackberry curve has been giving me some issues lately, but as much as i say i don't like it right now i really do. my sidekick iii is still for sale in near perfect condition & i just want to get rid of it at this point so if anybody is interested offers are welcome.

mommy bought me a really cute little black dress from lacoste last week. it's casual yet very flirty, very audrey inspired also. however i really need to condense my clothing collection to prepare to share closet space with joey so i'll probably take some offers on a few things there too. i'm going to need to somehow keep my eyes closed & away from neimans/saks for a little while which i might need help in doing so, but i'm going to try really hard to be good. okay done now.

what a fantastic time my vacation to jamaica with my mommy was! we finally experienced our first trip together [she doesn't like flying] among many other things. we took the redeye thursday night, had a layover in philly & than made it to jamaica friday afternoon. i think it's safe to say that things are very different over sea's, but beautiful none the less. once we arrived we gathered together with our group & a shuttle took us back to our hotel. we stayed at the ritz carlton & my favorite part about the room was the bathroom, all marble & so pretty. however once we stepped foot in our room i came to notice that my luggage wasn't next to the rest ... talk about me freaking out. after a few calls & a headache later my belongings were brought up to the room, thank goodness! 

after resting for a bit we then dressed for the welcome reception dinner & met with everyone at the beach along with making a few purchases from the locals. it was so beautiful outside with it being sunset & the water with colored lights all around it & the palm trees just being so pretty. we had been up for about thirty-six hours at this point & running on about six hour of sleep so we chatted with new people, walked around to enjoy the weather & than made it an early night to take time for beauty rest.

the following morning we woke bright & early for breakfast on the terrace. it was slightly overcast so it was a very enjoyable temperature to wake up to. mommy had a meeting to attend, so while she did that i sat at the beach & watched the water, not something i get a chance to ever do in colorado. to pass a little more time i went back to the room, dressed for the pool & sat out for a while listening to my ipod. after lunch i put another suit on & we went to the pool together, it still wasn't too sunny which made it quite chilly once getting out of the water, but it was still fun. once we had enough of that we dressed for the awards ceremony dinner in the ballroom. it was excellent dishes from beginning to end, the hall was decorated so beautifully & it was all just so nice. john legend performed for the whole night which was kinda a weird surprise, but it actually made for a nice setting. too much wine later we ended the night & got some more much needed rest.

sunday morning following breakfast i went back to the pool & sat out for sooo long. it was definitely the warmest weather i've experienced in a very long time. i made a bit of a mistake in wearing my polo swim suit, talk about the worst tan lines ever & than i went back to the pool about an hour later wearing a different suit in hopes of evening things out & it just was a mess of lines. at that point i think we were both pretty much dying of heat stroke, so we relaxed in the room for a while before dinner & than dinned at a very nice restaurant called horizon. somehow i was dumb enough to clamp my flatiron down on my ear while getting ready, i wasn't doing so well that whole day. 

monday was our fabulous spa day! the only thing not so fabulous was the amount of pain i felt about half way into my massage, oh my god i was ready to cry. on the way back up to the room we bought a few souvenirs, walked around & than tried to recover from our massage. our farewell dinner was next & they took us off site to a place called the rose hall great house. i had never heard of it before so i was excited to see something new because they said there was a lot of history behind it. we arrived to a beautiful mansion & the lawn all along it was incredibly decorated for where we'd eat, it reminded me of the birthday party scene in meet joe black. first we took the tour of the plantation ... the story was of a lady who was originally from france named annie palmer. she was the wife to the owner of the plantation, he among many other husbands to follow died suspiciously. i believe it was her second or third husband that she had strangled to death & to make sure that he was dead she poured hot oil through his ears. who does that!? apparently she still haunts the grounds to this day & while it's a beautiful site, it's all very creepy at the same time. after the tour we ate, the whole trip i had the most amazing fish every night it was so wonderful. while we were enjoying our dessert & conversing with the people at our table, a fireworks show started to our surprise. i was literally sitting right under the fireworks & it was just so exciting & so beautiful! as the night was coming to an end we sat & had a tea leaf reading followed by having our palms read. the tea leaf reader told me that i will be studying something in the medical or it industry & will works very closely with people & absolutely love what i'm doing. that part i didn't really think much of because it's not even close to being something that i'm interested in. but next she told me i'll be traveling to the new england area & that was kinda freaky just considering that's where my joey is. the palm reader told me i will have two kids, seven grandchildren, die at age eighty-nine & i tend to have bad dreams. that night i had seriously one of the worst dreams & it just really sucked. the part about the kids was hilarious, sorry about that joey!
