my american apparel dress finally came in the mail this week, but today i had to go downtown to exchange it & of course i found more stuff that i just had to have.  i also bought two more dresses this week & then being the sweet boy that he is, joey bought me another!  what else came in the mail?  oh that's right, my new blackberry curve!  it's a huge change from my old phone, but i absolutely love it.  so it return that means my sidekick is now for sale if anyone's interested.  it sounds like all i did this week was shop, but i actually wasn't at all that bad.  my best purchase by far is these new babes:

i fell in love the second i walked past them & even more so once i slipped them on.  tomorrow night is jona's going away party & even though i haven't seen her since her wedding, i'm really going to miss her.  maybe if things work out for joey & i going to california this summer, we can visit her!  oh & my lemongrass spa goodies were brought into work today & they smell delicious.  that is all for now.

last year today was spent with joey.  we woke up to way too much snow & were planning to stay in bed for lazy time when we got a call that my aunt was in the hospital.  like the lovely boy that he is, he rushed me down to see her & we stayed for hours.  once we got back home we warmed up & watch a movie in bed, mostly he watched because i fell asleep.  later in the night we got ready for an evening at our favorite place: the aquarium!  what a different story that place is at night though, we were both pretty creeped out.  we headed home & made a great choice for dinner ... taco bell.  [hahaha, i promise you the most fantastic easter holiday's to come joey!]  so long story short, he is the most fantastic person in my life.

    

& well as for today i will spend alone.  mommy is at work & joey is with his family, but that's okay!  the easter bunny visited me early this morning with yummy candy & gifts from j crew.  not at all as much snow this year thank goodness & it's going to be close to seventy degrees this week until thursday. 

this past week i bought fabulous towels & luigi bormioli latte/coffee cups for our new home.  i can't wait to put everything together & have a cute little house warming party.  & the thought of purchasing things off of our wish list at ikea is just way too exciting for me!  time to eat!

this weekend i did absolutely nothing & it was great.  joey went to connecticut with his family, so i pretty much just read & sat around a lot.  worked out for forty-five minutes today & i don't care what anyone says, but bb works miracles.  watched a bit of roman holiday & than wrote some snail mail.  last thursday the mommy & i went to the creek ... we ate at yummy cpk & i bought these fabulous flats:

went back down there on friday to view the chanel spring rtw trunk show & it was fantastic.  nothing else really exciting to update about, but i'm ready for gossip girl to start back up already!

today it was sixty degrees outside & absolutely gorgeous!  i got to spend it inside at work looking out the window every chance i got, lucky me.  slight chance of snow tomorrow?  ugh i hope they're wrong.  but the thought of my passport arriving makes it all better, for next month i will be faaar away from the snow.  american apparel sent notification that my racerback dress is on backorder ... lets hope that gets fixed soon.  the mommy & i went to tuk tuk for dinner tonight:
